Hi, I'm Glenn Aguilar, thank you for visiting my Florida AIDS Walk page!
This is my third year taking an active part in the battle against AIDS, and on Saturday, March 21, I will participate in a 5K fundraising walk along Fort Lauderdale Beach.
I've been passionate about taking part in the battle against AIDS since I was living in my home country, Honduras. The barriers to access medication and the struggle of people living with HIV fuel my passion to make a difference, and to one day offer support to the communities at high risk back in my country.
While HIV and AIDS have fallen out of the spotlight in recent years, the epidemic is far from over. An estimated 1.1 million people in the US are living with HIV, and 15% of them don’t know it.
Florida AIDS Walk works to bring attention to this pressing issue, educate and inspire our community to work together, and end the epidemic once and for all.
We walk for over 100,000 people living with HIV in Florida. We walk to remember those who no longer can. We walk to remind you that you’re not alone. We walk for a nation. We walk for change.
Please support me with a donation. Your gift makes a direct impact on my goal to save lives right here in Florida from the devastation of HIV/AIDS. Together, we are making a difference!
