Will you stand with me to support those who need us most?  I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be walking with SunServe in the 2024 Florida AIDS Walk, raising critical funds for programs that uplift the most vulnerable in our community. As Alexander Hamilton once said, “If you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything.” For those who know me, you know I have always stood for the underdog, the marginalized, and ultimately my clients who face unimaginable challenges every day.

Now, I invite YOU to stand with me—and beside me—in this fight for hope, dignity, and change.  We are witnessing a political climate where, sadly, Trans individuals have become the target of fear and division. As the Wizard said in Wicked, “The best way to bring folks together is to give them a really good enemy.”  This manipulation is a clear example of art imitating life; creating scapegoats instead of fostering true unity has placed “bullseyes” on our backs.  

As the director of Transgender Services, most of my clients are struggling with joblessness, limited resources, isolation, mental health challenges, depression, and anxiety.  These challenges are only made worse by the current climate of fear and division. They need our support now more than ever.
