Hi folks! This is my Florida AIDS Walk fundraising page for PRISM. We're a non-profit in South Florida and we work to educate LGBTQ+ youth on topics like sexual health, queer history, and more. We also do a LOT of grassroots advocacy work fighting back against anti-LGBTQ laws (like Don't Say LGBTQ, anti-trans ID bills, and more).

I have been with PRISM for 5+ years, first starting as a volunteer and now as a staff member. Everyone here is SO passionate and tireless and just absolutely amazing. Even though they're based in Florida, I've been blessed enough to fly down there and see them three times now and each time I've felt so much LOVE. Being around my PRISM family, and basically the whole community we've created over the years, was probably the first time in my life where I felt safe and welcome. Your support is going to help us create safe spaces just like that for queer kids who need it more than ever.. And that's pretty damn important right now!

All that's to say, this fundraiser is really important to us and our work and it would mean a lot to me if you could help out. How about giving $50--$10 for each year I've worked at this wonderful place!
