I’m walking in the Florida AIDS Walk to raise funds for PRISM, an organization that has been life-changing for me and so many others. As the Program Manager for P-SAP, a program I was once a part of, I know firsthand how vital PRISM’s work is in empowering LGBTQ+ youth, building community, and advocating for those impacted by HIV/AIDS.
P-SAP provides young LGBTQ+ leaders with the skills, mentorship, and resources they need to create change in their schools and communities. When I joined P-SAP, it gave me the confidence and tools to become an advocate. Now, leading the program, I get to help a new generation of students do the same. But the fight isn’t over—GSAs and LGBTQ+ youth programs are under attack, and we need your help to keep them going.
Here’s the best part: Thanks to the Florida AIDS Walk, every dollar you donate is matched 75%, making your impact even greater!
I’m so proud that P-SAP is supporting over 20 students like me, but their clubs and communities face constant challenges. Would you be able to give $20 today—just $1 for each of them—to help youth stay involved and empowered?
Every dollar counts, and even a small donation can make a big difference. Can you chip in today?
