Welcome to Positive People Network Inc.’s Florida AIDS Walk 2025 Fundraiser

We are excited to announce our participation in the Florida AIDS Walk 2025 as we continue our mission of creating a healthier and more equitable future for those impacted by HIV. Positive People Network Inc. is proud to be the first BIPOC-led organization to join this impactful event, breaking barriers and paving the way for inclusive representation in this vital cause.

This year, we are honored to have Loren Broadbent, father of the late activist Hydeia Broadbent, join us as our Champion. Loren will walk alongside us in Hydeia’s memory, continuing her legacy of advocating for HIV awareness, equity, and compassion. Hydeia’s trailblazing activism reminds us of the importance of this work, and we are humbled to walk in her honor.

We are thrilled to be part of a powerful coalition of organizations,  as beneficiaries of the Florida AIDS Walk. Together, we amplify the voices of the most marginalized communities, ensuring that all people—regardless of race, gender, or socioeconomic status—have access to the support they need to thrive.

Thanks to the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, every dollar donated to our fundraising team will be matched 75%, up to $400,000. This means your contributions go twice as far in helping us provide:

• Critical support services for women, men, and youth living with or affected by HIV.
• Resources that promote education, prevention, and destigmatization.
• Programs like TransSis,  PPN MEN, Pozitive EyE's, PPN S.W.a.T.( Sisters With A Testimony) PPN International ," Language Maters, Watch What You Say1"and initiatives focused on health equity and social justice.

Our mission is more than just raising funds – it’s about raising hope, awareness, and visibility for those living with HIV and AIDS. While the world’s attention may have shifted, the reality remains that HIV continues to impact millions of lives, especially in underserved communities. More than 1.1 million people in the U.S. are living with HIV today, and alarmingly, 15% of them don’t even know it.
