Hello, and welcome to the Florida AIDS Walk & Music Festival webpage for the Safe Schools Board of Directors Team!

We are a dedicated group of advocates committed to championing the rights of LGBTQ+ youth, educators, and parents by creating safe environments through advocacy, education, and support. By participating in this 5K fundraising walk, we aim to raise crucial funds for local HIV/AIDS service organizations—including Safe Schools—to ensure our programs have the resources to serve South Florida’s youth effectively.

Our Board of Directors Team has set a goal of $15,000, and every donation made here is matched dollar-for-dollar, doubling your contribution’s impact. Together, we can continue developing accurate and inclusive sexual health education and offering life-saving HIV/AIDS resources to some of the most vulnerable populations in our community.

This is our third year walking in the Florida AIDS Walk, and we’re grateful to be a beneficiary once again. Over the years, your support has allowed us to expand teacher trainings, provide scholarships, and create more welcoming spaces where students can thrive as their authentic selves.
