This year marks Mu Gamma Zeta’s second year participating in the Florida AIDS Walk, and we are proud to take an active role in the fight against HIV and AIDS. Our team will be participating in a 5K fundraising walk to raise critical funds for local HIV and AIDS service organizations that support individuals and families in our community.

But we can’t do it alone—we need your help.

Although HIV and AIDS may not receive the same level of attention as in years past, the epidemic is far from over. In the United States, an estimated 1.1 million people are living with HIV, and 15% of them do not know their status. Awareness, education, testing, and access to care remain essential in ending this epidemic.

Your donation will make a direct and meaningful impact, helping us reach our fundraising goal and supporting efforts to save lives right here in Florida. The Florida AIDS Walk brings attention to this important cause, educates and inspires our community, and supports organizations working tirelessly to prevent HIV, provide care, and promote hope.
