Exciting news: Equality Florida has been selected as a beneficiary of the 2022 Florida AIDS Walk & Music Festival! This event is an educational fundraising initiative managed by the AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) to support organizations that help Floridians living with HIV. AHF is a global nonprofit organization providing cutting-edge medicine and advocacy to millions of people in 45 countries. They are currently the largest provider of HIV/AIDS medical care in the U.S.

Through April 30, 2022, AHF will match all donations dollar for dollar up to $500,000 that are made to Equality Florida's Florida AIDS Walk teams. To take advantage of this matching opportunity, please consider making a donation to our team.

Florida has a horrible record on fighting HIV. From refusing to invest in prevention efforts, to biased sexual health education in our schools, to anemic public education and intervention strategies that would help reduce the rate of HIV transmissions, Florida is failing.
