AQUA Foundation for Women, AQUA Walks for AIDS, is grateful, and thrilled, to be a 4 times Florida Aids Walk Beneficiary. AFW serves and supports the Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer Women's Community in South Florida, through Grants, Scholarships and Initiatives. 

In August of 2022, AQUA held its first programming and educational event for HIV/AIDS. Break the Stigma: HIV/AIDS Conference for Women and Femme Folks, was born out of the need to shine a light on Women and Trans Women living with, and at risk for, HIV/AIDS. The conference was well received and attended. The program consisted of a panel of women and trans women living with HIV/AIDS, in addtion to 4 workshops. Lunch, along with stories, and journeys, were shared in a safe space with a true sense of Community. This will be an annual conference on AQUA's calendar, and we look forward to watching it grow, and serve. 

AQUA Foundation for Women is by and for LBTQ Women, and we will proudly be walking for South Florida Women and their families.
